Welcome to Hedge Trimming Shortlands. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services. By engaging with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms.
Service Agreement
By requesting our hedge trimming services, you are entering into a binding agreement with Hedge Trimming Shortlands. We commit to delivering professional and high-quality hedge trimming services as per industry standards.
Scope of Services
- Trimming and shaping of various hedge types to enhance property aesthetics
- Removal of unwanted branches, leaves, and debris to maintain garden health
- Maintenance of balanced growth and structure of hedges
- Post-service clean-up to leave your property tidy and orderly
Service Limitations
Our services are limited to hedge trimming and related maintenance tasks. We do not provide landscaping design, tree removal beyond hedges, or pest control services. Should additional services be required, they can be arranged separately upon mutual agreement.
Booking and Scheduling
Appointments can be scheduled through our online booking system or by contacting our office during business hours. We strive to accommodate your preferred time slots; however, availability is subject to change based on demand and staffing.
Confirmation
Upon scheduling, you will receive a confirmation email detailing the service date, time, and other pertinent information. It is your responsibility to review the confirmation and notify us of any discrepancies or changes required.
Rescheduling
Should you need to reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. We will make efforts to accommodate your new requested time, subject to availability.
Pricing and Payment
Our pricing structure is based on the size, type, and complexity of the hedge trimming required. All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are subject to change without prior notice. Estimates provided prior to service commencement are binding unless significant changes to the scope of work occur.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept various payment methods, including credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers. Invoices will be issued at the end of each service period. Late payments may incur additional fees, as outlined in our Late Payment Policy.
Additional Charges
Any services requested beyond the initial agreement, or additional resources required due to unforeseen circumstances, may result in extra charges. These will be communicated and agreed upon before proceeding with the additional work.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the total service cost.
No-Show Policy
Failure to present for a scheduled appointment without prior notice will result in a no-show fee equivalent to the full service cost.
Service Standards
We are committed to providing top-notch service. Our technicians are trained professionals who adhere to safety and quality standards, ensuring that all hedge trimming is performed efficiently and effectively.
Quality Assurance
We ensure that all work is completed to your satisfaction. If any issues arise post-service, please contact us within 48 hours, and we will address the concern promptly. Our goal is to maintain long-term relationships through consistent and reliable service delivery.
Equipment and Safety
All equipment used is regularly maintained and inspected to ensure safety and performance. Our technicians follow strict safety protocols to prevent accidents and minimize any potential risks during service delivery.
Liability and Insurance
Hedge Trimming Shortlands maintains comprehensive liability insurance to cover any accidental damages that may occur during service delivery. However, we are not liable for damages resulting from factors beyond our control, such as extreme weather conditions, pre-existing property issues, or actions taken by third parties.
Damage Policy
In the rare event of accidental damage to property, please notify us immediately. We will assess the situation and arrange for repairs or compensation as necessary, in accordance with our insurance coverage and the extent of the damage.
Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays or inability to perform services due to events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of government, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Customer Obligations
You agree to provide access to the property at the scheduled service time and ensure that the area is clear of obstacles that may impede our work. Pets should be secured, and any valuable or fragile items should be protected or removed prior to service.
Preparation for Service
To facilitate a smooth and efficient service, please ensure that all areas requiring attention are accessible. This includes providing clear guidelines on preferred trimming styles or any specific instructions regarding the hedges.
Cooperation
Cooperation and clear communication are essential to achieving the desired results. Please inform us of any concerns or specific requirements before and during the service to ensure your satisfaction.
Termination of Agreement
Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice if the other party breaches any of the terms outlined herein. Termination will take effect immediately upon receipt of the notice, and all outstanding obligations must be fulfilled accordingly.
Effects of Termination
Upon termination, any outstanding payments for services rendered up to the termination date will be due immediately. Additionally, any materials or equipment provided by the customer must be returned in good condition.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal actions arising from or related to these terms must be filed within the appropriate jurisdiction.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between you and Hedge Trimming Shortlands, both parties agree to seek an amicable resolution through mediation before pursuing legal action. Mediation will be conducted in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the relevant regulatory bodies.
Mediation Process
Upon mutual agreement to mediate, a neutral third-party mediator will be appointed to facilitate discussions and help reach a fair resolution. Both parties agree to participate in good faith and to abide by the mediator’s recommendations.
Amendments to Terms
Hedge Trimming Shortlands reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. You will be notified of any significant changes via email or through our booking system notifications. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Notification of Changes
You are responsible for reviewing these Terms and Conditions periodically. If you do not agree with the amendments, you must discontinue use of our services and notify us of your decision.
Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Hedge Trimming Shortlands regarding the services provided, superseding any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral. No other terms, adjustments, or conditions apply unless explicitly stated in this document.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision will be replaced with a valid and enforceable provision that most closely matches the intent of the original provision.
Waiver
The failure of Hedge Trimming Shortlands to enforce any right or provision in these Terms and Conditions will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision. A waiver of any specific provision does not constitute a waiver of any other provision or subsequent breach.
